Quarantine Book Recommendations

Though many of us may not be completely bored out of our minds yet with AP exams and finals approaching, soon we will be on summer break and may experience much more boredom. With your extra free time, why not start some new books? Books are a great way to pass the time, you can easily spend hours at a time while getting caught up in a story. It is even better when you find a great series, and sometimes even a movie!

Purchasing books from a book store is also a great way to help support
local businesses in your community. I made a list, in no particular order, of ten book recommendations that some of my friends and I have read.

  1. Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens
  2. The Eighty-Dollar Champion by Elizabeth
    Letts
  3. The Selection by Kiera Cass (a series)
  4. One of Us Is Lying by Karen McManus
  5. The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
  6. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins (a
captivating series with super interesting movies)
  7. Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon (plus
    there is a great movie)
  8. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
  9. Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
  10. Divergent by Veronica Roth (also a great
    series with movies)
