We're making a huge jump today from SHP to New York! Please enjoy these photos taken by William Yen '23 from his trip there last summer— They're breathtaking. Happy Late Start Wednesday to everyone and good luck with the remainder of your classes!
Here's the closest we could get to going back to in-person campus! Please enjoy these photos of the rabbits and a prayer sent in by Ms. Kilburn as we start the new week of online learning. Good luck to everyone!
Today's submission, a follow-up to our previous Hogwarts Drop, was sent in by Mr. Elmashni. Here's what he has to say about the photos: "They are from the Livraria Lello in Porto, Portugal which is a world famous bookstore my wife and I visited in the summer of 2018. Harry Potter author JK Rowling spent much time in that bookstore while teaching English nearby (well before she started to write the Harry Potter series) and apparently the whimsical design of the bookstore inspired her image of the School of Hogwarts and of course influenced the Harry Potter stories." It's been…
Today's post captures two sides of our experience away from school. The first image shows current and past SHP students getting together to collect bags of food for local food banks, sent in by Dr. Whitcomb. The second image was sent in by Mr. Roberts, a reminder to go out and look at the beautiful roses as they blossom this year.
Today's submission comes from Ms. Q. Here's what she has to say about her fantastic creation, a queen sized blanket: "This project has been a few years in the works, with long pauses between bursts of crocheting. There are 125 color changes throughout this blanket, which is meant to be evocative of summer in the English moorlands. This blanket has journeyed many places with me while in the works, finally becoming the darling of many Zoom meetings. Pictured with me are my very ambitious helpers, Pieface (willing participant) and Sweetie (who didn't want to participate)." Thank you so much,…
Today's post is from Finn Roblin '21, a compilation of some photos he took on some hikes and bike rides during the quarantine. Enjoy the view and make sure to find your own path in the woods to share to the community. Let's keep the drop going strong!

Today's post from Dr. Suran invites us to check out all that our neighborhoods are doing in order to create love and unity in a time of uncertainty and fear. As we saw a few Drops ago with Ms. Rench's pictures of the sidewalk chalk, people are coming together to make this experience as lighthearted as possible. Take a walk or go on a run today and see what wonders you fall on!
Today's post is an awesome throwback to the Zoom calls of last week amidst your break. Ms. O'Donnell's AP Women's Literature class and Ms. York's Precalc BCH class are featured in this post! We encourage all teachers to try similar things when we get back on the road, like getting the whole class to go on a walk at the same time or destress from the work of the week. Thanks for tuning in!
