Who should we admire? What should we admire people for? In the 21st century, when faced with rampant deforestation, mass extinction, contaminated water, and climate change, we must look to those who have dedicated their lives to preserving and restoring natural spaces for guidance and hope. Honoring activists, scientists, and protestors, Ms. O’Leary’s Studio Art classes researched and painted 26 individuals who toiled for years in order to make the world a better, safer place. If you are inspired by their artwork, then consider going out into the world and helping the environment, such as picking up trash or planting trees. Our collective efforts are the only way we can undo our unjust harm to Mother Nature.Copy-of-Goldman-Environmental-Activists-JUST-IMAGES-no-text-min
