Dr. Tanaka is a professor of particle physics and astrophysics at the Stanford Linear Accelerator (SLAC) National Accelerator Laboratory. His research primarily focuses on neutrinos and antineutrinos, which has recently led him to collaborate on the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) between the Sanford Underground Research Laboratory in Lead, South Dakota, and the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia, Illinois. In his lecture, he talks about the properties of neutrinos and his work at DUNE.
