Haiku to Start the Week

Mr. Schultz let us know recently that haiku is singular and plural (it comes from the Japanese word haiku), so we’ll be fixing that mistake from this point forth. Anyways, here are two more from Mr. Schultz to start the week. Welcome back from break everyone!

A Chill

limbs knock on the ridge.

a chill blankets the valley.

caterpillars sleep.

Black Friday

The malls are empty.

Black Friday has come and gone.

Santa’s on his way.
